Tanner Corl grew up in Minnesota loving music from an early age.  Taking piano and guitar lessons from the age of 8, music had a strong hold on him. Tanner’s mother had a classical folk guitar she strummed on and slowly he started playing.  Throughout high school Tanner performed regularly in the theater Ensemble, jazz group, rock bands and his local church.  After Graduation Tanner’s music aspirations grew and he moved down to Austin Texas, the live music capital of the world to pursue a musical career. Tanner graduated with a music Composition degree from University of North Texas in 1996.  While at UNT he performed regularly in numerous chamber groups,  orchestra’s, choirs, guitar ensembles, rock groups and solo. “Music school really gave me the tools I would need to succeed in a music career”

While at UNT he worked as a teacher assistant helping in composition classes and giving private lessons.  After Graduating Tanner moved back to Austin continuously performing in solo, duo, groups teaching at Leander School of Music, Allegro Music & Dance (Buda) and Curious Chords Music Studio (Buda). His wide range of teaching experience is in private/group piano, guitar, voice, bass and theory lessons.

Tanner has 15 years national touring experience with pop, rock/metal, hip-hop, choirs, classical and jazz groups.  Recording 3 albums of music with his band “Trio Del Rio” who performs swing/blues/alt.country/latin/rock.

Tanner has taught voice, guitar, bass, piano & drums. He is a active performing musician, producer, song-writer, bassist and a arranger/transcriber.
